To my brother,  |

To my brother,

To that absent soul

I miss you so much

Is there any patience in longing?

I cry for you every day

I wish you’d visit me at least once in my dreams

Tell me about you

How did the dogs tear you apart?

How couldn’t they show you some mercy

And you used to feed them!

There are no loyal friends

Nothing is eternal as it is said

Describe to me how was your reunion with our siblings

With our father, too

I grieve you all here

I cry

Please, tell me how your pure heart allowed you to leave us

How could you go

Didn’t we always say:

“We either live together or die together?”

Why did you depart?

Tell me

I was told that crying over those who are absent won’t bring them back in dreams

So, I made a vow to myself

I shall not cry anymore

Just please visit me in my dreams again

I want to say goodbye

To hold you for the last time

Can you believe it

I even miss arguing with you

I long to see you walking into my room

And asking me all about the things you think of

I long to make you tea

To follow your one rule

A lot of sugar

You know

I talk to myself now

I say, you are in a place that suits you

Even when I cook

I think of you

I say to myself, “He doesn’t like this kind of food”

Thanks God you are not suffering from this famine

When I sip my tea without sugar

I say to myself

If you were here

You will explode in anger

Forgive me my dear for crying

I apologize

I shall tear my heart out

I shall erase my memory

I shall hold up my tears

But I shall wait for you

In my dreams every night

Please, do not embarrass me

Just visit me one more time

So, I can feel relieved

And know that you are fine
