- For those sending books from outside Egypt, they can be shipped by mail to Cairo, addressed to: Dar Al-Kateb Library at the details provided above (see point 2).
I would like to highlight a few important points to ensure everything is clear:
- I do not have a specific list of books due to the vast size of my lost library. If I receive duplicate copies, I will arrange to exchange them at bookstores in Cairo.
- The books I am interested in, include all types of Arabic language books, such as syntax, morphology, rhetoric, literature, poetry, and prose. I also seek books on Quranic exegesis, recitations, hadith commentaries, principles of Islamic jurisprudence, biographies, and various Islamic sciences.
- It is preferable for the books to be classical rather than contemporary. However, there is no issue whether the editions are old or new.
- I would be delighted if each of you could write a dedication on the first page of the book, including your name, the date, or anything similar.
- I do not accept financial or monetary donations; I am only collecting physical books.
