We are exhausted and worn out. Both, Hamas and Israel must commit to the terms of “the deal”. I know it is not a good one. There are many doubts and uncertainties surrounding it, however, here in Gaza, we deserve, at least, a little rest.
So far, I have not been able to return to my destroyed home. I am eagerly waiting to go back. The army still controls 58% of Gaza’s territory. My house lies within that area under their control. Everything looks confusing to me. A lot of pain and suffering. It will take us years to go back to our normal life. Everything around here is destroyed. I don’t know how all this devastation can ever be reconstructed. All that I know for now, is that Israel must allow us to live in peace.
