Twenty-five years and I am still learning how to live in a homeland that survives its own death every day. Despite that, I have not lost my desire to live. I still look forward to a tomorrow that does not resemble yesterday; to a soul that just wants to rest a bit.
I survived many times, yet I have not reached my “goal”.
All that I can do now is to continue to be a human being who keeps trying.
